August 2019 Events in the Greater Salt Lake City Area

Utah State Fair Butter Sculpture

There are so many August events in the Greater Salt Lake City Area that we have no idea how anyone can possibly be bored in Utah. Enjoy this last month with your kids before school starts. Don’t have kids? There’s plenty on the calendar to appeal to all.

As always, we’ve arranged things by county so you can easily see if there’s an event close to you or if you want to drive a little to attend something. Text listed next to each date is a link that will take you directly to that event’s website.

Have a family friendly event you want us to list? It’s free to list an event here, but we do reserve the right to decline (that’s pretty rare). You can also include an image and short paragraph for a nominal price. Email us at UtahFamilyFunStuff@gmail.com for more information.
